Big Letter BANANAGRAMS®

The same great game play of Classic BANANAGRAMS, now with 50% larger tiles to accommodate players with low vision. BIG Letter was inspired by 85-year-old Chicago resident and avid BANANAGRAMS player Jan Siemsen who suffers from Macular Degeneration, the leading cause of vision loss in the elderly, affecting more than 10 million Americans overall. A portion of the BIG Letter sales proceeds will benefit the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (www.macular.org) to help further their dual mission of educating people about how to thrive despite having the disease and supporting research to prevent, treat and cure it. Click here to download more information about what play has to do with macular degeneration.

In celebration of the game’s release, Bananagrams, Inc. will host a #BringBigSmiles with #BigLetterBananagrams social media campaign to encourage people to get active in their communities and visit their local elder care facilities to play the game with seniors. Click here to read the press release.

Addictively simple, and simply addictive, BANANAGRAMS is the fast and frantic word game that now comes in an easier to see edition! New larger, bolder, and higher contrast letter tiles—designed for low vision players—aid in easy to read gameplay so players can focus on grabbing that “Top Banana” title! Aiming to be the first player to use all of their letters to build individual word grids, opponents race to the finish! Big Letter BANANAGRAMS requires no pencil, paper, or board, and comes in a portable banana-shaped pouch that’s perfect for ages 7 and up—at home or on the go.
